Taylor was diagnosed with Stage 2 Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) through a clinical diagnosis from researchers at the Veterans Administration-Boston University-Concussion Legacy Foundation Brain Bank. This was a result of repeated head trauma over many years.
